Anime Kiss TV is a streaming service that features a large number of classic Japanese animated programs. The software provides both English dub tracks as well as subtitles for many of them, which gives users the freedom to enjoy them however they'd like. It leverages connections from Ocean68 Studio across the entire industry in order to bring over the greatest number of shows possible.

When you first start the software, it'll poll a remote server and try to enumerate as many anime titles as are currently available. Each show will then appear as a tile on a large canvas. This gives it the same look you'd expect from an app on a smart television, which should make it easy to use even if you have a touchscreen. In most cases, all you have to do to play a show is tap the tile and wait.

Since Anime Kiss TV aggregates content from across the web, it's possible that you might regularly run into show links that no longer work. While this can be disappointing if there's only one copy of a show listed, it usually doesn't cause any lasting problem. The fact that the app does stream many shows in full HD does cause it to use quite a bit of bandwidth, though, which might be an issue for those who connect to the Internet via public Wi-Fi.

In spite of this, there's really no obtrusive advertising or any of the other problems that normally plague video streaming services. Though there are periodically commercials, they're relatively short and they don't suddenly stop the stream so most people won't be bothered by them. Those who want a lower quality video in order to preserve bandwidth should even be able to dial it back.

Perhaps the most notable thing about the software is the fact that it has an incredible variety of content for otaku to stream. While a number of the anime series listed are indeed newer, there are also dozens of older shows available at any given time. This is great for those who want to watch vintage 1970s and 1980s-era classics that date from a period when some of the finest mecha anime were made.

Though most older shows won't have dub tracks due to never having been released in Western markets, there's a surprisingly large number that did receive at least some form of an English dub. Anyone who wants to enjoy classic 1970s super robot-themed shows will appreciate that Anime Kiss TV has decided to include all of these features alongside content that's considerably more recent. New titles are added on a regular basis, though the software doesn't always make it obvious when something has shown up for the first time.
